We are excited to share that we bought our first house! It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in need of quite a bit of love and manual labor. We closed on the house on Friday, June 13th (no, we’re not superstitious) and couldn’t be happier. The house has some great features and lots of potential character. It is very apparent on entering the house that it was a great home for many years, but the “charm” we like to see isn’t there anymore. However, we were able to get some photos of what the house used to look like from the owners when Laurel’s parents were kind enough to go to the foundation inspection. We love the original look of the house, and can’t wait to bring it back to that era.
So, consider these the “before” pictures, as we have many (probably too many!) plans for the house.
